Plan B is a new organisation working across the South coast of the UK. Based in Gosport, Hampshire with reach across Southampton, Portsmouth, Havant and surrounding communities, Plan B aims to positively impact the lives of disadvantaged young people aged 10–24, who are currently not succeeding in, or engaging with, mainstream education, who are at risk of offending or being victims of crime themselves, and who are not in education, employment or training.

Plan B’s core programmes include: practical vocational training across carpentry, boat building and joinery; sailing inshore and offshore vessels; Open Awards and other higher/further educational qualification access; social enterprise and small business training; and wider employability skills development.

Treebeard has provided an interest-free loan and an unrestricted grant to support Plan B’s early years.
