Despite recent successes such as the legally-binding target to halt the decline of wildlife by 2030, there is still a huge challenge for environmental policy in the UK. Environmental laws are being weakened and gains are at risk unless underpinned by detailed delivery plans from the government.

Link is a coalition of 67 member organisations united in a common interest in the conservation and enjoyment of the natural environment. Link provides a platform through which members use their joint voice to conserve, enhance and access landscapes, animals, plants, habitats, rivers and seas. Members directly protect over 750,000 hectares of land and 800 miles of coastline.

Link works on issues identified by this membership, and through skilled and dedicated policy, advocacy and campaigning work, supports members to have impact and influence on existing and emerging policy.
