The Women’s Centre Cornwall is a women’s charity with services across South West England, offering empowering support to women and girls living with the impact of sexual and domestic abuse.

One of TWCC’s projects is called DIVAS – it is run by and for women with learning disabilities, neurodiversity and autism, to help them to be safer, more confident and to ensure their voices and experiences are heard and treated fairly and with respect by the services they engage with.

As well as supporting women directly, DIVAS also provides advice and training to local statutory and voluntary services to ensure they are meeting the needs of women with learning disabilities or neurodiversity, groups that are highly vulnerable to abuse and control but who are not always served well by mainstream, generalist services.

Treebeard is providing restricted, multi-year funding to the DIVAS programme.
